I have gotten a horrible yeast infection because of the antibiotic I recently have taken. I rarely get them. If I do, they clear up on its own. But this one was so bad I had to get a 3-day treatment of Monistat, but a generic brand. I think I had a cut in my vagina and the yeast grew on it and pulled my skin together. It was uncomfortable and painful. I had no itching, however I did have burning but only when I went to urinate. The skin was red and inflamed.

Yes, I'm treating my yeast infection now. I have no idea of the cause. I haven't taken antibiotics in 2 to 4 years.
