What are your typhoid fever symptoms and signs? Submit Your Comment
I felt feverish but no fever, muscle pain, pricking sensation, extreme fatigue, dizziness, soft stool, abdominal discomfort… almost hallucinating. My typhoid was treated with 14 days of antibiotics which brought back my energy but I continue to have aches, pricks and headaches.
It began with muscular pain, nose bleedings and fatigue. After a few days I got very high fever and I had a black out. Then I went to the hospital where they gave me antibiotic injections for typhoid. I had a coated tongue (very white), muscular pain, was extremely tired, typhoid spots on my skin, bad headache, hair loss, yellowing of the skin, nausea and diarrhea. The fever went away after a few days of antibiotics but the other symptoms and fatigue remained for weeks.
Last year I had typhoid and was treated, but I still occasionally have headache.
