I had a detached thumb nail. A good third of it was detached. I used to use my thumb nail as a staple remover and over time it started to detach and get worse. I had this for about 2 years. I researched online with no cures for this condition. I started drinking aloe vera juice for health reasons, about 1/3 cup every morning. After about 3 weeks I noticed that my nail started to reattach on the nail bed. At first I couldn't figure out how this happened. The only thing I had done differently is drink the aloe vera juice. I was shocked and knew aloe vera had healing properties but I never expected this to happen. You can buy a huge bottle of aloe vera juice at Walmart for USD 8.00. Try this and you'll be amazed.

I ripped of my nail but it’s been months and nothing has come back.
