I have swimmer’s ear. When I went swimming in my pool, I dove underwater and there were chemicals in it, so the wax in my ear and the chemicals probably went together and I have a swimmer’s ear. It really hurts, I hate it.

I was diagnosed yesterday with a 'textbook case' of swimmer's ear. Apparently I have water trapped in my ear from the shower. I must say this is the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I've had surgeries less painful than this. My ears are clogged, my face is swollen, and my left side of my face hurts. I'm not typically a whiner, but this will bring out the whiner in everyone. I'm hoping a new antibiotic and some steroid treatment will work now.

I developed swimmer's ear after two weeks of swimming, half an hour a day. This my first experience and it is very painful.
