This article is not representative of my experience, or that of anyone I have spoken to. You will not feel close to normal in a few days after sentinel node biopsy. You will be lucky to recover in several months. I had a serious infection 4 weeks after. Now it is two months post-surgery, and I still have minor pain and some tingling due to nerve damage. My surgeon tells me that is not unusual. I think you are setting unreal expectations for future patients.
