For nausea I use generic Zofran if I need to stay awake, or Phenergan if I have time to sleep. I also use OTC stool softener Metamucil. I sit over the edge of my bath tub and use a handheld shower head to clean protruding rectum and anal area. I use lint free disposable cotton pads soaked in witch hazel (why pay so much more for Tucks), and generic, unscented baby wipes with aloe. I buy them by the case and always have them with me. I then apply Bag Balm ointment - it contains an antibiotic/antiseptic.

I am a 41 year old woman who has suffered from constipation for over 20 years and had to put my fingers in my vaginal wall and push my stools out, and now I have to stretch my anus to pull it out. I have bloody mucus on my fingers and my anus feels like something is hanging out, worried I have a rectal prolapse. It is rock hard, my stools, and I have had stool softeners and fiber drinks but my belly from under my breast is swollen and hard.
