I started off with prednisone for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis but that barely got the job done and I was experiencing corticosteroid side effects from prolonged use. I went to an exceptional hospital, and they put me on mycophenolate and methotrexate along with monthly Orencia infusions. I started noticing a difference very quickly and my morning stiffness was gone. Weight lifting and running on occasion have also helped tremendously but I do suggest stretching every day.
