Arthritis medicines caused my internal bleeding.

I broke my femur, had surgery and was in a recovery home, and 2 blood clots entered my lungs. I went to the hospital where I was diagnosed and treated, then sent back to recovery home with care instructions. Somehow the dosage of blood thinner was doubled so I bled internally causing blood to enter lungs. Blood was in my stools and urine, that is how we discovered it. They rushed me to hospital again where I was put to sleep and put on a respirator for 4 days. I was very close to death.

My friend has diabetes and broke his ankle a year ago. Doctors didn't fix the ankle due to other surgery on foot. One of the broken bones punctured an artery last week and he lost a tremendous amount of blood. He has been in the hospital for a week, has had two blood transfusions and no clue what is causing his blood loss! His kidneys are only functioning at 11 percent.

My friend met with a road accident in which his leg muscles ruptured and doctors suggested rod insertion in leg. When they operated the same day his hemoglobin which was 10.4 reduced to 6 and then 3 due to internal bleeding which led to brain stroke. Artificial pumping and ventilation has made him alive but after 27 days he is still on ventilation, not passing urine and has blood loss. Every alternate day the doctors are giving 1 or 2 units of blood which raises his hemoglobin to 9.4 but it reduces to 7.4 in 2 days. This is the scene from last 27 days. By CT scan they found that a very small hole was left during the operation of the leg.

I fell out of a slippery tub during a shower at a hotel, falling on my right hip and hitting my head on the toilet. My head is now fine. After 6 days, my right leg started to ache. It is now day 7, and the pain is not subsiding. I rest and ice. The doctor said it would take 2 to 3 weeks to heal. Without x-rays (they were done at the time of the fall) she was positive it was internal bleeding.

I had the gastric sleeve surgery 4 weeks ago. Everything went great I didn't have any pain, and felt on top of the world. I went home on a Saturday and all seemed good. I had some pulling on my right side just below my liver so I called the surgeon's office. I was told that during the laparoscopic surgery my liver had been lacerated and a stitch was used to close it up, but not to worry, everything was alright. On Sunday afternoon I didn't feel so well. I was a bit dizzy and unsteady on my feet. Just after 2 a.m. I got up and promptly passed out.
