I have a large hematoma in my left but each day it has traveled down, and the back of my leg down to my ankle is all black. The emergency room doctor states it's just a hematoma. I am on Coumadin.

I fell 10 days ago. I hit my head on the tile floor. A bump came up on my scalp. I put ice on the hematoma for 24 hours. The bump has not diminished in size.

I had a large hematoma after a TOT (transobturator tape) operation 18 months ago. I still have a hard lump, I wonder how long it usually takes before it will be fully gone.
