Yesterday I was nauseated, experiencing cramps in my forearms and calves, blood sugar had shot up over 200, had headache and diarrhea, hands and feet were swollen and I was hot though I didn't think to take my temperature. Obviously I was not thinking straight either. In my confusion I thought it was because my blood sugar (BS) was elevated so started pumping in the Novartis Insulin, even though all I had to eat was a slice of vegetarian lasagna using zucchini instead of pasta. So then I was dealing with low BS! By the time I had that under control, I poured myself into bed and slept for nine hours. I am feeling much better but realized I'm lucky because I was treating the wrong thing. I should have turned on the heat pump sooner and been drinking Gatorade!
