I have undergone a hernia surgery and after 4 or 5 days I gradually began to feel heartburn. By 7 to 8 days it became very serious. I'm just totally confused as to what to do.

I have been getting heartburn twice a day for the last several days. This morning I got extremely light headed and was trembling then the heartburn started. I really hate going to the doctors/emergency room. I believe they infect you with more serious issues when you seek treatment or have surgeries. No, I don’t believe in aliens or big foot. But seriously how many times have you gone to be treated for something minor just to end up with something more serious a year down the road!

I find that fried foods, curries, and tomatoes cause me to get heartburn. I am following a diet and I avoid certain foods. My heartburn is a lot better.
