I would like to add that play and reading are two major activities that helps in boosting mental stimulation and cognitive skills among individuals. Elderly people often do not have people their own age to engage in such activities at home, therefore it would be best to place them in assisted living facilities, where they get the opportunity to engage in debates and other socializing activities with people their own age.
