My father died two years ago of a GI (gastrointestinal) bleed, he was 59 and the cause was alcoholism. His stomach burst and he bled to death. Thankfully it was quick and he didn't suffer though he didn't feel good for about two days prior. He dropped dead in front of a soda machine, he was in agony and went to get ginger ale at a hotel. He was found holding two bucks. That is what alcoholism does.

I have ulcerative colitis and was hospitalized with a gastrointestinal (GI) bleed 2 months. I am now bleeding from my rectum again. I know I need a colonoscopy done because my sister passed away 2 years ago with colon cancer.
