I am 54 and been having aching pain on my left side from my stomach area. One general physician (GP) said it was heartburn. After taking some medicines it was not fixed still. Then I saw another GP, she sent me for a CT scan, and in those results discovered I have a dermoid cyst growing from the top of my bladder to my stomach, the size of a monster 25 x 23 x 12 cm, a massive monster. I am yet to see the surgeon for his conclusion on it. Then they found in CT scan another cyst 2.4 cm on adrenal gland on top of my left kidney. A few more tests are to be completed on that before the next stage.

My deep-level cyst was found with an ultrasound.

I found out I had a deep-level cyst after experiencing sharp pains on my left side. Trying to grin and bear it, I was going to take some pain medicines and lie down but my mother wasn't having it and took me to the hospital! That was 3 or 4 years ago. I haven't experienced that type of pain since but I'm finally going to have it removed on 9/4/18. Don't like walking around with this foreign object in my body!
