I was using a Derma Roller and decided to use a face mask instead of my normal face care of argon oil. It was a little mask of little orange berries that were to refresh. As soon as I put the mask on my face it started burning. I guess I waited a little too long to wash it off. My face swelled, my eyes swelled, and my face turned a bright red. My skin felt like tanned leather. I tried organic coconut oil. It soothed but did not fix the problem. I went to my doctor and he had a fit. He said it was very serious. He gave me a large shot of prednisone and prednisone tables to take. He also prescribed a cream. I have been treating it for 3 days now and the redness is almost gone but my skin feel like roughened leather. I still have the pills and cream to use. I was told it might take 2 weeks for it to be completely gone. I feel so stupid for waiting. I should have gone to see him that very day. I went to work and put makeup over the rash and just about passed out from the pain. Do not fool around with dermatitis. Get it seen about right away.

I suffered from lichen planus and contact dermatitis. Initial outbreak treatment was Panafcort 25 mg 2 daily for 4 days, 1 daily for 4 days, 1/2 daily for 4 days, and finally 1/4 daily for 4 days. Use Aveeno body wash daily and after shower, pat dry and smoothly apply QV cream. I have had no outbreaks now for 12 months.
