Thirty three years ago, walking into my kitchen, I was sure my brain exploded! I was hot, sweating, and my right eye and nostril were dripping a clear, thick substance. It lasted about 90 minutes. That was my first cluster headache (CH) attack. This isn't a 'headache', it is an all-out attack! The next day nothing happened but the day after, it was on! This is my chronic status for 30 plus years. Countless doctors and neurologists, without any real understanding of CH! Why are we not receiving funding for R and D! Cluster-heads, time to speak up and out. Thank you!

I think I have been having a cluster headache on/off all day yesterday, last night, this morning and now it has subsided a bit. My left eye has been constantly watering, running nose slightly, feels like someone is squeezing my head one minute and poking it with something the next. While I can breathe in/out of nose fine, feel like there is something deep in my nose. Additionally, I have been having some minor sneezing. Since I am under immunotherapy (allergy shots), I am going to the allergist for appointment this afternoon in hopes of getting some sort of relief and/or a prescription for Imitrex. I am a migraine sufferer, but this has got to be the worst headache ever.
