I was diagnosed with cervical dysplasia at 26 with abnormal cells and I just had LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure) surgery. I feel alone sometimes. I am tired of them doctors doing Pap smears. That stuff hurts awfully. I been dealing with this for a long time and it gets on my nerves. I feel mad, because this hurts and irritates me.

I have had normal Paps for the past 16 years until this past year. I went in for my Pap and it came back abnormal. I had the biopsy done and it came back normal with HPV 9human papilloma virus) positive. I just went back for my 6 month checkup and that Pap came back abnormal and so did the biopsy, but the HPV was negative. CIN1 was present this time and my doctor gave me the option to wait 6 months and repeat the Pap and if that comes back abnormal we are going do the LEEP procedure for cervical dysplasia. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes back normal in 6 months.
