My carcinoid lung tumor found on pre-operation chest x-ray and I was asymptomatic. I was treated at the hospital in Chicago. They removed my left upper lobe of lung with VATS (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery) procedure. Pulmonary function test was normal pre-operation. My surgery was on 2-21-20. Breathing is not back to normal yet. I have follow-ups with CT scans every 6 months for 2 years. How long I wonder till breathing is back to normal.
