What symptoms did you experience from your carcinoid lung tumor? Submit Your Comment
I did not have any symptoms. My carcinoid lung tumor was discovered when I had a chest x-ray for something else.
I had pain in back and shoulder because of carcinoid lung tumor.
When I was 32 and while I was in my second pregnancy, I developed a cough. That cough brought blood all the time. The doctors heard wheezing and thought I had asthma, and treated me for that after I gave birth. I had developed pneumonia five times within the next 18 months and was hospitalized with the fifth time. After a few weeks of tests and a bronchoscopy, a carcinoid tumor was diagnosed. The tumor had invaded a few lymph nodes so I needed a second opinion. Here I am 30 years later alive and well!
