What was the treatment for your broken toe? Submit Your Comment
I stubbed my pinky toe on the bed leg in the dark. In the few days following there was little to no pain, and only slight bruising, but x-ray determined the fracture was displaced. I had surgical reduction and pin placement 2 days ago in order for it to heal correctly. Estimated 4-6 weeks to heal.
I was just walking across the room to open the curtain and my right foot kicked the couch end. I broke my middle toe. I just taped the toe and the toe next to it together. It will take about 4 to 5 weeks to heal. The toe may still have some swelling and pain, but you are on your way.
I took a square metal dresser leg between my big toe and the second toe. I was in a hotel room in the middle of the night. That was in May, this is October. I still can’t sleep. The pain keeps me sick at my stomach. I am going to lose the toe nail. No sleep in months, yea.
I was going up the stairs I missed a step and stubbed the fourth toe on my left foot. After it started turning purple, I figured I broke it. I’m still waiting on X-ray results. During the day it barely bothers me, but at night I get excruciating pain that wakes me up.
I broke my second toe about 2 weeks ago. It still hurts a lot and now I have swelling on the top of that foot. I did tape the two toes together and am taking ibuprofen. I have an infant so I know I probably didn't keep it raised as long as I should have. But I don't really want to go to the general physician if it’s not really needed.
