I had never had pain like this in my foot. At first, I thought my arch must be falling, because it hurt my foot arch and heel to stand and/or walk. It's kind of like a deep bad bruise, and my lower arch and heel swell up like a bruise, too. Just last night, a friend suggested I might have a bone spur. I guess I'll go to the doctor to find out, because walking around like a Weeble is doing nothing for me.
I have bone spurs on the lower right and left of the talus in my ankle. I have pain, swelling and instability. I am still fighting with doctors for some relief. OTC pain relievers dull the pain only. Physical therapy made it worse, cortisone shots in the joint haven't done much. I don’t know why we must jump through hoops to get a resolution.
I don't have pain all the time from my bone spurs, but occasionally I get deep pain in my one or both my hands. The pain is severe, my thumbs especially are affected. Often it starts during the night, I might turn over and my hand gets in the way, or I shake hands with somebody. Both of these will trigger the pain, lasting several days. A doctor suggested to wrap my hands in bandages, to limit movement. This helps a lot especially at night, unfortunately in the day it is absolute torture.
I have excessive pain on my right knee joint because of bone spur. I can't walk even home. My joint has become stiff and immobile.
It is painful to move, the worst is the ache. I had shoulder surgery 2 years ago the bone spur shaved my bicep muscle right off, the doctor did not know until he went into the shoulder. Now the left shoulder is doing the same. My knees are in the same boat. I wonder if there is a name for this type of rheumatoid arthritis.
I had neck surgery on 2-24-2017 and have to be very careful now. I push-mow my yard just to try and stay healthy physically and mentally. My wrists are deteriorating and ankles might have some torn up tendons. My foot and ankle have been swollen black and blue for a month. I finally found a specialist he's considering taking me as a new patient; I hope so. These bone spurs are extremely painful.
I have had bone spurs from both heels removed 20 years ago which was great, but I have both hips and spine spurs now. I can’t walk just to and from the car, I don't carry much, and steps are a no, no. I can’t stand to do dishes, I am having pain with any motion, no pain when I sit or lie. I have a lot of depression and anxiety from pain, so I feel useless.
My heels hurt to the touch because of bone spur. The pain feels like a bruise being pushed and on the left heel it is a lot worse.
I am a practicing dentist who first became aware of a bone spur in my right hand approximately 2 years ago. Continuous pain led me to have an x-ray. Since then the pain has been escalating to the point that I cannot open a jar or use any force to perform a task. I would like to have this spur removed, only I am afraid of any possible negative sequela. I would prefer to have the procedure performed with only local anesthesia.
I suffer from tremendous pain in my left lumbar region from bone spurs. I take painkiller medicine hydrocodone that lasts about 4 hours.
I have a painful ‘pump bump' because of bone spur and cannot get any relief.

I am a US Army veteran. I have something on the bottom of my left foot just below my big toe where the foot pad makes the curvature between the big toe and the next toe just the other side of the big toe.
